Vivid Layer License

Rules for using free Vivid Layer source assets in end products.

1. License holder

This License is between Vivid Layer, operated by Dongsheng Han and the individual who lawfully obtains a Vivid Layer source asset.

2. What you may do

  • Use and modify the source code in your own projects.
  • Use it in unlimited personal and commercial end products for yourself or your clients.
  • Deliver a compiled, bundled, or otherwise integrated end product to a client.
  • Make reasonable internal copies for your own development and backup purposes.

3. Client work

A client may use the finished end product you deliver, but does not receive a reusable license to the original Vivid Layer source assets. If the client or another developer needs to extract, reuse, maintain, or redistribute those source assets independently, they need their own applicable license.

4. What you may not do

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, open-source, or share the source assets, whether modified or unmodified.
  • Make the assets available in a public repository, downloadable package, template marketplace, code generator, or component library.
  • Use the assets to create a competing collection of reusable UI source code.
  • Claim Vivid Layer's original source, branding, documentation, or design assets as your own standalone work.

5. Asset notices

An asset may include a separate license notice in its source. If it does, that notice governs that asset. Otherwise, this License applies.

6. Ownership

Vivid Layer and its licensors retain ownership of the original materials and documentation. You retain ownership of the original work you add and of your finished end product, subject to Vivid Layer's rights in the included source.

7. Updates and termination

Updates remain subject to this License. This License terminates if you materially breach it. On termination, you must stop using and delete the affected source assets, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

8. Questions

For a use case not clearly covered here, request written permission before distributing the asset. Contact support.vividlayer@gmail.com.
